This ensemble comedy follows the Pullham University Bluecocks, a paltry liberal arts college with a Division III football program (the lowest disagreement in the NCAA). When the master coach unexpectedly dies, the future of the flailing football program is in danger, as they have not had a winning season in decades. In a forlorn attempt to create some media study for the athletic program and the literary institution, President Georgia Anne Whistler hires known insane person and felon, Coach Rick Vice, instead of what could be the football programs conclusive season. Vice, an overly aggressive redneck racist, in a short time becomes the team s and robust director s worst nightmare.
